Restaurants in city may sell Iftar items from Tuesday

None will be able to sell Iftar items on the footpaths

The restaurants in city may sell Iftar items from today (Tuesday). But none will be able to sell Iftar items on the footpaths.     

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) revealed this information on Monday.

DMP deputy commissioner (DC) Masudur Rahman said the city dwellers would be able to purchase their Iftar items from restaurants. But they will not get scope to sit in the restaurants for Iftar. 

He also said the sellers and buyers of Iftar items have to maintain health regulations including social distancing.
