Permission needed before filing lawsuit against govt officials

Govt officials are also barred from talking to media without permission

Permission from the government must be taken before filing any case against any government official while discharging duties.

The Cabinet Division on Tuesday sent a letter in this regard to the secretary of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

The letter asked to take the necessary steps to ensure the rules and regulations contained in various laws in this regard.
