DNCC fines house owners Tk 80,000 in city for finding Aedes mosquito larva

A total of Tk 3.48300 lakh has been fined so far in the operation conducted by the mobile court since May 10

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC),in a special cleaning operation (combing operation), fined house owners Taka 80,000 under 5 wards of the city today aiming to provide safety to city dwellers from dengue.

A total of 2,439 houses, installations and under construction buildings in Mirpur-10, Mirpur-2, Mohakhali, Karwan Bazar and Uttara areas of DNCC, were inspected during the operation.

The house owners were fined as DNCC found the existence of Aedes aegypti mosquito larva in their places.

A total of Tk 3.48300 lakh has been fined so far in the operation conducted by the mobile court since May 10.
