Khurshid Alam to remain DG of health for two more years

Khurshid Alam was appointed as the DG of the DGHS on July 23 following the resignation of his predecessor Abul Kalam Azad in the face of a series of scams related to Covid-19 tests

The government has reappointed Dr ABM Khurshid Alam as director general (DG) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under a contract for two years after his retirement.

The Ministry of Public Administration disclosed the information in an order issued on Thursday.

Khurshid Alam was appointed as the DG of the DGHS on July 23 following the resignation of his predecessor Abul Kalam Azad in the face of a series of scams related to Covid-19 tests.
