10 more die from coronavirus in Bangladesh, 492 new cases

Ten more people died of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bangladesh in the 24 hours to 8:00am on Monday, raising the tally to 101.

Ten more people died of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bangladesh in the 24 hours to 8:00am on Monday, raising the tally to 101.

Meanwhile, 492 others were diagnosed with COVID-19 during the same period, taking the number of such cases in the country to 2948, Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nasima Sultana said.

Among the new death, eight are male and the two are female, Dr Nasima said.
