Greek labor market to be opened for Bangladeshi workers

The letter was signed after a formal meeting between Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed and Minister of Migration and Asylum of Greece Notis Mitarachi in Athens

The governments of Bangladesh and Greece are looking forward to opening the Greek labor market for Bangladeshi workers.

A MoU was signed between Bangladesh and Greece on safe migration and repatriation of workers from Bangladesh on Monday.   

The letter was signed after a formal meeting between Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed and Minister of Migration and Asylum of Greece Notis Mitarachi in Athens, a press release said on Tuesday.

The ministers hoped that the signing of the MoU will allow the workers to reach Greece easily, safely and at a low cost to arrange their employment.
