Amphan moving towards Khulna, Jashore, Rajbari after crossing coast

The cyclonic storm Amphan has completed crossing the coast and now lying over Satkhira district.
It is likely to move in a north-northeasterly direction further and gradually weaken, a special bulletin from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) released on Wednesday night says.
Amphan is now likely to move towards Jashore and Narail tonight with a wind speed of 90km/h.
Then, it may move towards Magura, Gopalganj, Rajbari, Sirajganj and Jamalpur in early hours of Thursday while gradually losing its strength.
Currently, the maximum sustained wind speed within 74 kilometres of the cyclone's centre is about 160 km/h, rising to 180 km/h in gusts/squalls. The sea will remain rough under its influence, according to BMD press release.
