A total 39 Indian Army members, who participated in the liberation war, paid homage to the martyrs of liberation war by laying wreath at National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar on Friday

Indian Army members, who participated in the liberation war, paid homage to the martyrs of liberation war by laying wreath at National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar on Friday.

A total 39 Indian Army members, who participated in the liberation war, along with their wives arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence.

During the visit, the Indian delegation will visit the para dropping site during the war of liberation in Kalihati area of Tangail, Liberation War Museum and Bangabandhu Memorial Museum.

After the visit the delegation will return to India on March 29.
