The strike of water transport workers has been withdrawn

The strike of water transport workers has been withdrawn, according to media report.

Earlier in the day, State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that the ongoing strike of water transport workers will be resolved by today.

To resolve the matter, discussion was on among the water transport workers, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) under the Ministry of Shipping and the Department of Shipping.
