Fifth phase elections to 31 municipalities on February 28

Last date for submission of nomination paper is February 2. The scrutiny of nomination will be on February 4. And the last date for withdrawal of nomination paper is February 11

The fifth phase elections to 31 municipalities of the country will be held on February 28.

The voting will begin at 8:00 am and continue till 4:00 pm without any break on that day.

Department of Public Relations of the Election Commission (EC) confirmed the matter at 5:45 pm on Tuesday.

It was learned that last date for submission of nomination paper is February 2. The scrutiny of nomination will be on February 4. And the last date for withdrawal of nomination paper is February 11.

Meanwhile, returning officers and assistant returning officers have been appointed for conducting the elections to be held on February 28.
