Country's prominent dance artist, choreographer and former president of Bangladesh Dancers' Association Hassan Imam breathed his last at his 67. 

On Friday evening, he died from sudden illness around 4:30 pm at his Moghbazar residence in the capital, said the dance artist association's General Secretary Anisul Islam Hiru.

Hassan Imam was suffering from heart related diseases, diabetics and some other ailments, he added.

Three days earlier, Hassan's sister died from Covid-19 and Hassan fell sick on Friday evening while going up to the stairs after completing prayer over her death.
