The government has decided to keep the government and private secondary schools open for 15 days during the month of Ramadan.

The academic activities of secondary schools will continue from 11 March to 25 March, read a notification signed by Education Ministry Public Relations Officer Mohammad Abul Khayer.

As per the notification, the government has brought some changes to the holiday list of educational institutions in 2024.

Recently due to winter when the temperature dropped below 10-degree Celsius, educational institutions were closed in various areas including several districts of Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions.

Primary school was closed for several days due to winter as well.
