Group claimsInqilab Moncho leader Jaber 'shot'

Inqilab Moncho Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber has sustained bullet injuries while laying siege to the chief adviser’s official residence, state guesthouse Jamuna. 

The matter was confirmed in a status on the verified Facebook page of Inqilab Mancha at around 4 pm today, Friday (February 6).

The status reads, "Jaber was shot. Juma-Shanta has been laid with boots."

Another status on the verified Facebook page of Inquilab Manch reads, "Do not hold any gatherings for now. We will return to the streets after receiving medical treatment. Until then, we urge you to stay safe."

Earlier, the leaders and activists of the Inqilab Mancha marched towards the Jamuna, the residence of the chief advisor, demanding an investigation into the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi under the UN and the trial of those involved in the murder. The police used water cannon and tear gas to disperse the protesters.

It is claimed that the organization's member secretary Abdullah Al Jaber was shot. The clash took place at the Intercontinental intersection in the capital around 4:30 pm on Friday.
