DSE begins with upward trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) called a meeting today with bank chiefs to request them to buy stocks at a declining price

Dhaka Stocks today has faced intraday correction, with a trading gain of 1.6% or 65.96 points to reach 4074 at 11:15am, following a 6.5% fall on Monday. 

DSEX, the key index of the premier bourse (DSE), witnessed a sharp jump in recovery efforts which went up 1.6% within 20 minutes of trading.

However, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) called a meeting today with bank chiefs to request them to buy stocks at a declining price.

Investors are nervous about the market direction, macroeconomic outlook and corporate earnings, while coronavirus has added to the existing worries.
