Police Hospital claims success in plasma therapy on Covid-19 patients

The doctors at Central Police Hospital (CPH) claimed to have seen success in plasma therapy on patients diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

"Patients ability to take oxygen increased by 30 to 60 percent," Saiful Islam Shantu, additional SP (Admin) of CPH confirmed The Business Standard today.

"Preparation is underway to collect plasma," he added.

As of Monday, some 2,621 police personnel have been infected with the virus, of which 1,097 cases are reported from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). 

Meanwhile, another member of police has died today from the virus infection taking the death toll to nine till date.
