RAB arrests Hefajat leader Khaled Saifullah Ayubi

Joint secretary general of Hefajat-e-Islam Khaled Saifullah Ayubi has been arrested.

Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested him from his village home in Singair Upazila of Manikganj early Thursday.

Saifullah is an accused in a case filed with Paltan Police Station following recent violence in March this year.

Commander Khandaker Al Moin, RAb's Legal and Media Wing director, confirmed the news.

With him, at least 13 top leaders of the Islamist group have been arrested in recent times.
