Fraud medical scientist Ishrat Rafique arrested

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested so called medical scientist and researcher Dr Ishrat Rafique Ishita along with her associate on charges of fraudulence.
She was detained during a raid in Mirpur area of the capital on Saturday night (July 31).
The scientist has allegedly forged her identity as the representative of various international and local organisations to dupe others.
ASP ANM Imran Khan, Senior Assistant Director, Legal and Media Wing of RAB headquarters, said that Ishrat Rafiq has been arrested for allegedly cheating under the guise of fake representatives of various international and domestic organisations.
She had assumed different identities in times including a young medical scientist and researcher, a prominent negotiator, diplomat, brigadier general and specialist physician, ASP Imran Khan added.
