Truck-microbus collision in Feni kills 6

At least six people, including three women and two minors, were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a microbus on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Muhuriganj in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni early today.

The deceased could not be identified yet.

The accident took place around 3:30am when the Feni-bound truck collided with the Chattogram-bound microbus, leaving the six dead on the spot and the four injured, said Mohammad Nazrul Islam, superintendent of Comilla regional highway police.

The SP said the accident took place as the truck was moving on the wrong side of the road.

On information, police and fire service men recovered the bodies.
