New Tk 50 note coming to market

Newly printed Tk 50 bank note is coming to the market. Bangladesh Bank will issue the note next Sunday.

Containing the signature of Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder, the central bank will issue it from its Motijheel office. Later, other offices of the central bank will issue it.

A notification revealed this information on Wednesday to this end.     

According to the notification, the colour, shape, design and other security characteristics of the new note will remain unchanged like past. Currently available 50Tk notes in the market will exist along with newly printed note.
