Italy to take 82 thousand workers

Italy brings good news for Bangladesh manpower sector as the country will take more than 82 thousand day labourers from various countries including Bangladesh.

Alfredo Mantovano, secretary of Italian Prime Minister, confirmed the news.

 A final gazette might be published in this regard within a few days.

Expatriates, living in Italy, see the decision issued by the Italian government as a great opportunity.

The government of the country will take 82,705 workers from various countries within 2023.

The workers will be taken on the permanent and seasonal basis for developing agriculture, transport, tourism, shipbuilding industry, mechanics and manufacturing sectors.

A year ago, Italy gave 69 visas under various categories. According to experts, getting visas  this year will be more tough than previous due to issuing maximum number of visas.

Thirty three countries including Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Mishore, El Salvador, Pakistan, India and Tunisia will be given the visas.

Forty four thousand workers, recently, will get visas under agriculture and temporary jobs while 38, 705 will get under permanent sponsor categories.
