PM inaugurates 27 projects in Gopalganj today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated a number of 27 development projects in Gopalganj on Saturday.

Apart from inaugurating 27 projects through video conference, the PM laid foundation stone of one project.

The initiatives of the Prime Minister brought smile to the people of Gopalganj.

Nineteen projects out of 28 are being implemented by LGED at a cost of about Tk 100 crore, while the rest 9 projects implemented by other departments.

Earlier, Awami League (AL)'s newly-elected National Committee, Central Working Committee and Advisory Council led by party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahmanin at Tungipara of Gopalganj district.

Md Shahid Ullah Khandaker, former senior secretary, now entrusted with implementing development projects in Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's constituency -- Gopalganj-3, among others, was present.
