Eid-ul-FitrSale of advance train tickets begins 24 March

Bangladesh Railway is going to sell advance train tickets from 24 March centring the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

Acting Director General Sardar Shahadat Ali revealed this information at a press briefing on Wednesday.  

He said that eight pairs of special trains will provide transport services on this Eid occasion.

Advance tickets for all intercity trains of the western region will be available online in the morning and tickets for trains operating in the eastern region will be available online from noon.

The advance tickets for 3rd April will be issued on 24 March, tickets for 4th April on 25 March, tickets for 5th April on 26 March, tickets for 6th April on 27 March, tickets for 7th April on 28 March, tickets for 8th April on 29 March and tickets for 9th April will be available on 30 March.
