3 Hajj packages announced, costs reduced

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced three government-managed Hajj packages for Individuals who are willing to perform the holy Islamic ritual next year.

Religious Affairs Advisor AFM Khalid Hossain unveiled three government Hajj packages on Sunday at the Secretariat.

He said: “For Hajj in 2026, since the final calculation of mandatory expenses in Saudi Arabia has not yet been received, the packages have been prepared based on last year’s cost structure and projected expenses.

“If the Saudi government later increases or decreases costs in any category, the package price will be adjusted accordingly. If the cost rises, pilgrims will be required to pay the difference; if it falls, the surplus will be refunded,” he added.

For the 2026 Hajj, the minimum Package-3 has been fixed at Tk467,167. The price of Package-2 has been set at Tk558,881, while Package-1, which includes accommodation within 700 metres of Masjid al-Haram, has been fixed at Tk690,597.
