Dhaka to host first Bangladesh-China green textile expo 2025 in October

The first-ever bilateral Bangladesh-China Green Textile Expo 2025 (BCGTX) will be held from 23–25 October at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.

The event is jointly organised by Savor International Limited and CEAB – the Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh, with BGMEA as the Knowledge Partner, said a press release.

The exposition focuses on Man-Made Fibers (MMF), highlighting innovation, sustainable practices, and opportunities for greener production in the textile industry.

BCGTX also connects with global initiatives such as Shanghai Climate Week, underscoring Asia’s voice and China’s action on climate change.

Distinguished professors and experts will take part in seminars and sessions, sharing insights to support sustainable textile development.

The event marks a milestone in over 50 years of Bangladesh–China diplomatic friendship, further strengthening cooperation and opening new avenues for growth.
