The United States dropped a 900 kg bunker buster bomb in Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump shared a video of a massive explosion in the Iranian city of Isfahan early Tuesday (March 31), showing towering flames illuminating the night sky.
According to The Wall Street Journal, U.S. officials confirmed the use of multiple 2,000-pound (approx. 907 kg) bunker-buster bombs targeting a strategic ammunition depot.
This strike follows Trump’s recent warning to destroy Iran’s energy, nuclear, and water infrastructure if a peace deal is not reached immediately.
While Trump and Israeli PM Netanyahu claim Iran is on the verge of developing nuclear weapons, UN monitors have yet to provide evidence of such progress.
The attack near the Badr military airbase in a city of 2.3 million people marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
