Iran war is on the path to ending: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Fox Business on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, that the war with Iran is nearing its conclusion.

While he claimed the conflict is "finished," Trump emphasized that the U.S. military has not yet completed its objectives and estimated that it would take Iran 20 years to rebuild.

Following the inconclusive 22-hour talks in Islamabad on April 11, the President revealed that a second round of meetings between U.S. and Iranian representatives will soon take place in Pakistan.

This follows a joint U.S.-Israeli military operation that began on February 28, which is currently under a 14-day ceasefire intended to lead toward a permanent peace agreement.
