Prince Garments’ chairman dies of coronavirus

Mohammad Taslim Akhter, chairman of Prince Garments (Pvt) Ltd died of coronavirus around 3pm on Thursday. 

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Rubana Huq confirmed the matter to madia.

Taslim Akhter was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Wednesday.

He was undergoing treatment at the capital's Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Hospital. 

His namaz-e-janaza and burial will be held under government arrangement.

BGMEA has mourned his death and requested everyone to pray for him.

So far 21 people have died from the virus in Bangladesh and 330 are infected with it.
