No JSC, JDC exams this year
The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dhakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations of this year have been cancelled.
A press notification signed by public relations officer (PRO) of the Education Ministry Abul Khayer revealed this information on Thursday.
The government decision came as corononavirus or Covid-19 pandemic is prevailing in the country.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave her consent in this regard as proposals for cancelling JSC and JSC of 2020 were sent to her earlier due to Covid-19.
Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations of this year were also scrapped for the same reasons on August 25.
