All educational institutions in the country will be brought under the policy: Education Minister

Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milton announced on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, that all educational institutions, including English medium schools, will be brought under a strict regulatory framework and education policy.

Speaking at a meeting in Sylhet, he highlighted that the government is working to form a Regulatory Board for English medium schools to ensure accountability.

The Minister emphasized improving the quality of education by providing a separate pay scale for teachers, implementing CCTV monitoring in classrooms, and introducing random sampling for fair exam script evaluation.

He also warned against organized "digital cheating" and stressed the importance of co-curricular activities like BNCC and Scouts in building students' leadership and discipline.
