Fire breaks out at Cumilla EPZ factory

A fire broke out at a factory of Cumilla Export Processing Zone (EPZ) on Saturday morning.

Sariful Islam, an officer of Cumilla Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD), confirmed the incident.

He informed that the fire started around 7:00am today.

Six firefighting units of Cumilla FSCD rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control, the officer added.

The reason behind the fire has not known yet.
