Bangladesh and India are likely to hold home minister-level talks in New Delhi on August 7 to discuss the issues of mutual interest with a greater focus on security and migration.

The two sides are now finalising things that will be discussed at the meeting, officials said on Sunday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and his Indian counterpart Amit Shah are likely to discuss border issues and ways on how the two countries can further strengthen cooperation in security areas showing zero tolerance to terrorism and radicalisation.

This will be the 7th round of home minister-level meeting between Bangladesh and India.
