Is govt suffering on Populism/Holiday fobia?

Govt has declared 10 days holiday for incoming eidulazha. Already due to May Day and adjacant two weekend, we lost three days. More weekend and adjacent holidays in offing.

I strongly feeling, govt might be suffering populism, you do not need to be populist to be popular. We lost a lot of working days due to monsoon revolution last years. These are luxary we are planning to loose more working days, while we have double digit inflation, while we need to work day and night.

We NGO - MFI run with micro finance income, peoole will not pay loan instalements. Credit fund retailers and Banks never delayed or forgive instalement / interest even after math of cyclones and even after lockdown situation of COVID.

We the NGO MFIs has to take loan money in most cases with personal guraantee. Even donors are telling that, if no work / holiday then no salary.

Is govt will come forward to compensate these loss of working days in holidays. We do not beg, we have our head and we have our hand, we want to work, please do not create impedements

Even if you give long holidays staff do not feel punctuality. After last eid holidays among around 2000 staff, 300 staff joined office lately after holidays.

We are private non profit social business profressional, we want to work for poor, for marginalized. Please do not disturb us or damage our work culture with your populist gimmicks.
