PM’s only goal is to serve people: Ruman

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has taken office with the sole objective of serving the people, PM’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman has said.

"Prime Minister Tarique Rahman maintains a very simple lifestyle and makes humble behaviours. His only goal is to serve the country," he said at a press conference at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in Dhaka on Saturday.

The PMO organised the press conference to present achievements of the BNP government in the last 60 days since assuming office.

Ruman said despite some challenges due to global crisis, the government has been making its all-out efforts since assuming office to make betterment of the people.

He urged the media to present the government's initiatives and efforts for the advancement of the country.

"If there are any flaws or shortcomings, you will inform us so that we can improve in the future," he told the reporters.
