President visits Dainik Samakal Editor at hospital

President M Abdul Hamid visited ailing Dainik Samakal Editor Golam Sarwar at a city hospital on Thursday night.

Hamid went to Labaid Specialised Hospital around 9:30pm and spent 15 minutes by Golam Sarwar inquiring about his health condition,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told.

He also talked to the attending doctors and wished him an early recovery.

Secretaries concerned to the President and family members of Golam Sarwar were present.

Family members informed that the 75-year-old renowned journalist, who is undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital since July 30 with lung infection and cardiac arrest, will be taken to Singapore on Friday for better treatment.
