Celebrate the birthday of Father of the Nation by Father of the Nation Foundation

The Father of the Nation Foundation is all set to celebrate the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day-2019 today in a befitting manner.

On this day in 1920, Bangabandhu, the vivacious leader of the Bangalee nation, the architect of independent Bangladesh and the greatest Bangalee of all times, was born in a respected Muslim family at Tungipara village of Gopalganj sub-division, now district.

He was the third among four daughters and two sons of his parents -- Sheikh Lutfur Rahman and Saira Khatun.

The Father of the Nation Foundation will celebrate the day through extensive programs with fanfare and gaiety.

The theme of this year's birthday of Bangabandhu and National Children's Day is “Bangabandhu's birthday, rinse life of the children with colour”.

Early in the morning at Dhanmondi, 32, The Father of the Nation Foundation was start their program with given flower cluster in the portrait of the Father of the Nation, the program Inaugurated by the President of the Father of the Nation foundation & famous softwer engineer Mr. Md. Manikuzzaman,

Later on, the organization provided free treatment and medicines for street children.

In the afternoon, leaders of the foundation laid down the birthday cake of the Father of the Nation on Disabled Children's Resident at Mirpur. In addition, improved food and new clothes were distributed among disabled children.

In a discussion meeting, Md. Manikuzzjaman, President of the Foundation, said that the people of the society would have to be beside the helpless people to implement the ideals and goals of the Father of the Nation.

He also said that if the leader was not born then Bangladesh would not have been born.
