Trump does not understand the Iranian nation: Ali Larijani

Ali Larijani, the head of Iran's National Security, remarked that U.S. President Donald Trump "does not understand" Iran. He made this statement while speaking to Iran's semi-official news agency, Fars News, on Friday (March 13), as reported by CNN.

Larijani stated, "Trump's problem is that he does not understand that the Iranian nation is strong, determined, and resilient. The more pressure the United States applies, the stronger the people's resolve will become."

He further added, "The attack near the massive Al-Quds Day procession in Tehran is a sign of Israel's 'despair' and 'fear'."

The Iranian National Security chief said, "One who is truly powerful would never carry out a bombing in the middle of a procession. It is clear that they have run out of options."

Israel has not commented on the attack to date, although they had stated they would conduct strikes in Tehran in the early morning.
