Reserved women's seat Verification of nomination papers starts from today

The verification of nomination papers for the reserved women's seats in the 13th National Parliament is set to begin today, Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission (EC), the screening process will take place over two days at the Election Training Institute (ETI) auditorium in Agargaon.

Returning Officer Md. Moin Uddin Khan confirmed that the activity starts at 2:00 PM today and will resume at 10:00 AM tomorrow.

Candidates or their proposers are required to be present during this transparent verification process. Following the scrutiny, the EC will publish a list of valid candidates, leading toward the final phases of withdrawal and symbol allocation for the 2026 reserved seat elections.
