BAF is flying in Covid-19 stricken Dr Masud

A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is flying in Dr Masud Ahmed, a doctor of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) who was diagnosed with Covid-19 on April 18, to Dhaka for better treatment.

The helicopter departed for Dhaka on 9:20pm tonight. 

"As the physical condition of Dr Masud Ahmed started to deteriorate, the Air Force is flying him to Dhaka for better treatment," a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate said today.

Dr Masud Ahmed is the assistant professor of the Urology department of KMCH. He was undergoing treatment at the corona unit of KMCH since he was tested positive. 

"He is been taken to the capital's Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital for better treatment," KMCH Principle Professor Abdul Ahad said.
