Bangladesh had defeated Mongolia in the semi-final of the Bangamata U-19 Women’s Gold Cup. 

Monika scored a stunning goal in that match at Bangabandhu National Stadium minutes before the half-time whistle.

The goal was selected from countless goals scored all across the world, and it is a memorable achievement not only for the talented young player, but also for Bangladesh football.
