The government plans to open the universities after vaccinating only the students who stay in residential halls rather than vaccinating all of them
This year, SSC candidates will take part in classes for 60 days while HSC candidates for 84 days. The candidates of 2022 will attend classes for 150 days and 180 days respectively. And then they will take part in examinations
The universities with no residential halls may be opened from June 13
All school teachers and employees were asked to be vaccinated before resuming the classes
The educational institutions will open once the situation turns favourable. All hygiene preparations have already been taken in this regard
The Prime Minister gave the instruction after witnessing a power point presentation on the architectural design of the TSC at her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital
Protesters stated that the fate of millions of students in the country is at stake due to the closure of educational institutions for a long time

The decision has been taken considering the ongoing Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation in the country. The revised schedule of examinations will be informed later

Usually, the SSC exam is held in February every year but the government is yet to fix any date for holding the exam this year due to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic

Dhaka Board Examination controller Prof SM Amirul Islam in a letter informed the matter to the educational Institutions under the board
However, orphanages have been allowed to stay open
