5 killed in Israeli attack in southern Lebanon

At least five people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese town of Qana, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

Following the strike, civil defense teams evacuated the casualties to hospitals in the nearby city of Tyre. Simultaneous attacks were reported across other parts of the Tyre district, including the village of Ma’raka, where at least three people sustained injuries.

This latest incident adds to the tragic history of Qana, a town that previously witnessed massive civilian casualties during Israeli military operations in both 1996 and 2006.
