Guardian settled Tk 543 crore in claims in 2025


[Dhaka, January 26, 2026] In a stellar demonstration of financial reliability and customer commitment, Guardian Life Insurance Limited settled 225,254 insurance claims worth Tk 543.28 crore in 2025.

Of the total amount disbursed, Tk 293.26 crore was paid against 113,199 death claims, providing critical financial support to bereaved families. Health and medical claims amounted to Tk 217.69 crore across 105,524 cases, while Tk 32.33 crore was disbursed for policy maturities and other claims.

The achievement marks a substantial increase from 2024, when the life insurer settled over 150,000 claims amounting to Tk 439 crore. In 2025, the number rose sharply to 225,254 claims, with total settlements reaching Tk 543.28 crore, highlighting a significant surge in both volume and value.

This consistent year-on-year increase in claim settlements highlights Guardian’s operational efficiency and reinforces its position as one of Bangladesh’s most trusted and financially stable insurers.

Commenting on the performance, Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guardian, remarked, “Every claim we settle is a promise fulfilled.
