Advisory Council MeetingHandover of the image of the new note to the Chief Advisor

Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur handed over the pictures of the six new types of banknotes that Bangladesh Bank has 
introduced in the market to Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus.

Finance Advisor Salehuddin Ahmed, Legal Advisor Asif Nazrul, Advisor on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Supradeep Chakma, 
and Advisor to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Youth and Sports Asif 
Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan were present at the time.

The images of the new notes were handed over at the advisory council meeting at the chief advisor's office on Monday, 
said Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, deputy press secretary to the chief advisor.

A senior official of the central bank said that the new design notes will be available in Sonali, Rupali, Agrani, Janata, 
Pubali, Uttara, Dutch-Bangla, Islami, Al Arafah Islami, BRAC and Eastern Bank.
