Nationwide vaccination to begin from Feb 7

Health Minister Zahid Maleque said today the nationwide vaccination campaign is scheduled to begin from February 7.
The minister revealed the matter to the press after visiting the vaccination centre at Kurmitola General Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially begin the vaccination program in Bangladesh at Kurmitola General Hospital tomorrow (Wednesday).
Zahid Maleque said 25 people will be vaccinated at the hospital around 3:30pm on Wednesday.
Runu Veronica Costa, a senior nurse at Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka, is going to be the first person in Bangladesh to be vaccinated against Covid-19 after the inauguration of vaccination programme at the hospital scheduled for tomorrow.
The nationwide vaccination will start after a dry run on 400-500 people in Dhaka.
