US delegation has reached Pakistan

High-level delegations from the United States and Iran have arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, for critical ceasefire negotiations scheduled for today, Saturday, April 11, 2026.

According to Reuters and Tasnim, the U.S. team includes Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, while the Iranian delegation is led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The Iranian representatives are expected to meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif before heading to the Serena Hotel for the "decisive" talks.

These discussions aim to formalize a permanent end to the recent 40-day conflict and address complex issues such as regional security and economic sanctions.
